It is now approaching 12 months since we moved into our new home, so it is well overdue that we express our sincere appreciation to Lucas and his team for all their wonderful work and efforts.

Building our own home was something we had always dreamed of doing but having heard an abundance of bad experiences from friends and relatives, we approached the task with some degree of trepidation. The key factor in the difference between a great experience to a nightmare appeared to be the choice of builder. Which explains why it took us three months of research, site inspections and reviews before deciding that Lucas Harlor Building would be the best fit for our needs. A decision that has been vindicated several times over.

Thanks to Lucas and his team the entire end-to-end building process was a fantastic experience. From our very first meeting with Lucas through to handover our expectations have been exceeded in every way. The quote was easy to understand, transparent with no hidden surprises (best evidenced in the fact that variations were minimal) and throughout the building phase we always found Lucas accessible, supportive and pro-active in keeping us informed on progress and all developments. We never had to chase or surmise with all phone calls and emails promptly responded to. Trustworthiness was at the core of our relationship with Lucas. He always delivered on what was promised and had the honesty to challenge any decisions which were not in our best interest.

The working relationship was an absolute delight with each trade and team engaged by Lucas having the same “can do” attitude, attention to detail and dedication in achieving quality outcomes. Their flexibility, professionalism and excellence in workmanship was second to none.

Our new home is just perfect, we absolutely love it. Although it has been almost a year since completion, we can’t help but marvel every time we walk through the door.
